Terms of Service

SpliceReel is software as a service for editing short vertical videos. You upload a clip; your browser transcribes it; an AI model plans an edit from the transcript and a style; you review and change the edit in our editor; your browser renders the final video.

Edits are drafted by an AI model and can contain mistakes, such as a mis-heard word in a caption or a cut in the wrong place. You review every edit before you export it and are responsible for what you publish.

You must give accurate information, keep your password private and be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live. You are responsible for everything done under your account.

You agree not to use SpliceReel to:

• upload footage you do not have the right to use, or that infringes anyone’s intellectual property, privacy or image rights;
• make content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that harasses or deceives people;
• impersonate someone else or create misleading content presented as a real person’s words;
• get around credit charges, rate limits or security controls, or resell access to the service;
• scrape, reverse-engineer or overload the service, or interfere with other customers.

You own the videos you upload and the videos you export. You give Get Dynamic QR Codes the licence needed to run the service with them: storing your uploads, sending transcripts (and, when you learn a style, still frames) to the AI provider that plans edits, and showing them back to you.

Uploaded videos and media library files are deleted automatically 7 days after upload. Your projects and exported videos are kept; a project whose original has been deleted can no longer be played or exported again. Ask us at any time and we delete a project and its files sooner.

SpliceReel is paid for with credits, bought in packs. Prices and what a credit covers are shown on the pricing page at the time you buy. Credits are not money, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, and do not expire while your account is open.

Credits are held when work starts and spent only when it succeeds; if an edit or export fails, the held credits are released.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it processes your payment, issues your invoice, collects any applicable sales tax or VAT, and handles payment-related customer service and returns.

Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase, as described in the Refund Policy.

Free credits given at sign-up or by us are offered as they are, cannot be refunded, and may be limited or withdrawn.

We work to keep SpliceReel available, but it depends on third-party AI providers, hosting, networks and your browser’s support for video features we do not control. We may change or improve features; if a change materially reduces what a credit buys, we will say so on the pricing page before it applies.

The software, presets, design and brand of SpliceReel belong to Get Dynamic QR Codes. These terms give you the right to use the service, not ownership of it. Styles you learn from your own reels are yours to use in SpliceReel.

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Get Dynamic QR Codes is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profit or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, after notice where possible. On closure, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; material changes are announced by email or in the app before they apply.
