Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Get Dynamic QR Codes collects when you use SpliceReel, why, and the choices you have. Much of the media work happens in your own browser, and we collect what the service needs and nothing to sell.

Who is responsible
Get Dynamic QR Codes operates SpliceReel and is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: hello@example.com.
What we collect
We collect:
- Account data: your name, email address, password (stored hashed) or the Google account you sign in with.
- Your videos: the originals you upload, a thumbnail, the word-timed transcript your browser produces, your edits and their history, and the videos you export.
- Styles: the presets you create, and the still frames sampled from reels you use to learn a style.
- Billing data: the credit packs you buy and their receipts. Card details are collected by Paddle and never reach our servers.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and logs needed to keep the service secure and working.
- Messages you send us, such as support requests.
What stays in your browser
Speech recognition runs in your browser with an open-source model; the audio is not sent to a transcription service. The final render also happens in your browser, and only the finished file is uploaded back to your project.
Why we use it
We use personal data to:
- provide the service: store your projects, plan and revise edits, and keep your credit balance (performance of our contract with you);
- take payments through Paddle (contract and legal obligations);
- keep accounts secure, prevent abuse and fix faults (legitimate interest);
- send service emails such as receipts and security notices (contract);
- send product news, only if you agree, with an unsubscribe link in every message (consent).
The AI provider
Edits are planned and revised by Anthropic’s Claude models. To do this we send the transcript of your clip, the style you chose and your revision requests; when you learn a style, we also send six still frames from each reference reel. We do not send your name or email, and we do not send the video itself.
Anthropic processes this data under its commercial API terms, which do not use it to train models by default.
Who else processes data
We share data only with providers that help us run the service:
- Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for checkout, invoicing, tax and payment support;
- our hosting and storage providers, for servers, databases and your files;
- Anthropic, for the edit plans and revisions described above;
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
How long we keep it
Uploaded videos and media library files are deleted 7 days after upload. Projects, their edits and exported videos are kept while your account is open, or until you ask us to delete them. Unfinished uploads are removed automatically. When you close your account, its data is deleted within 30 days, except receipts and records we must keep by law. Logs are kept for a limited period for security.
International transfers
Some providers process data outside your country. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent. Write to hello@example.com; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, media is served only through short-lived signed links, and every project is visible to its owner alone. See the Security page for more.
Children
SpliceReel is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
We will post any change here and update the date above; significant changes are announced by email.
