Raw clip in.
Finished reel out.
SpliceReel cuts every pause, writes word-by-word captions and adds zooms, scenes and music in your style. Then it opens a real timeline editor, so you can change anything before you export.
2 free credits when you sign up. No card needed.
here’s exactly how you can edit your video with Claude Code. I hid this behind a um resource but you need to see it.
Four steps. You stay in charge of every one.
Upload the raw clip
Drop in your talking-head footage. We transcribe it word by word and find every pause.
Pick a style or describe one
Choose a video style and a caption style, type what you want, or upload reels you like and let SpliceReel learn the look.
Fine-tune on the timeline
Trim, split and restyle on a multi-track timeline, strike words out of the transcript, or just ask: “make the hook bigger”.
Export in 1080×1920
Render the final video in your browser, ready for Reels, TikTok and Shorts. The price is shown before you start; if anything fails, the credits come back.
A real editor, not a black box.
The AI makes the first cut. After that it is your timeline, with the tools you would expect from a desktop app — on your phone too.
Multi-track timeline
Video, scenes, titles, captions, zooms, voice and music on separate lanes, with split, snapping and ripple delete.
Edit by editing text
Strike a word out of the transcript and it is gone from the video. Tap a word to jump straight to it.
Ask in plain words
Every request becomes a version you can undo. 10 AI revisions are included with each video.
Start from a preset. End with your own look.
Pay per video. No subscription.
1 credit edits a video up to 60 seconds, with unlimited manual edits, 10 AI revisions and 3 exports. Longer videos use 1 more credit for each started 60 seconds.
If an edit fails, its credits come straight back. Credits never expire. Uploads are deleted 7 days after upload; your exports are kept.
Before you upload.
What kind of video does SpliceReel edit?
Talking-head clips: someone speaking to camera for Reels, TikTok or Shorts, screen walkthroughs included. SpliceReel cuts the pauses, writes the captions and adds titles, scenes, zooms and music around what is said.
How many credits does a video use?
One credit covers a video up to 60 seconds long; each started block after that adds one. Drawn pictures, when you choose them, are priced on top. The whole price is shown before you start, held when the edit starts and spent once your first cut is ready — if anything fails, it comes back.
Can I change what the AI did?
Yes, all of it. The edit opens in a timeline editor: move cuts, strike words, rewrite captions, restyle scenes and titles by hand, or ask for a change in a sentence. Every version is kept, so you can always step back.
What happens to my videos?
Your original is uploaded so the editor can play it, and the final render runs in your browser. The AI that plans the edit reads the transcript, not the video. Uploads are deleted 7 days after upload; the videos you export are kept.
Which languages are supported?
Captions follow what you say. Detection is automatic, and you can set English, French, Arabic, Spanish, German, Portuguese or Italian yourself when you start a project. Arabic captions read right to left.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits never expire, and new accounts start with 2 free credits — no card needed.
